Partnership Spotlight: Contact Energy

.

Behind Weave Hawke’s Bay is a community of partners that help us to empower whānau across Hawke’s Bay to thrive and overcome life’s challenges. Today we are pleased to announce a partnership with Contact Energy, Hawke’s Bay’s largest power company.

Through their generous support, Contact Energy is sponsoring free power across each of our sites. Weave Hawke’s Bay CEO Kerry Henderson says that support like this makes a real difference to our mahi.

“By helping to reduce our operational costs, Contact Energy enables us to focus more of our time and resources on what matters most – walking alongside whānau and delivering services that strengthen families and communities across Hawke’s Bay.”

“We’re proud to support organisations like Weave Hawke’s Bay, whose work helps whānau take positive steps towards financial stability and empowerment,” says Contact’s Customer Wellbeing Manager, Lizzie Governor. “This partnership is about doing the right thing, helping communities in a way that’s authentic, practical and mana-enhancing.”

Contact’s approach puts community organisations at the centre of the story, recognising that those closest to the need are best placed to deliver meaningful support.

Weave Hawke’s Bay is incredibly grateful for this partnership and the meaningful impact it will have for the people we support every day.
