Christmas Cheer a Success

Today we reflect on the incredible generosity of our community of partners that made Christmas Cheer 2025 a tremendous success.
With the help of our community, Weave Hawke’s Bay coordinated Christmas Cheer parcels for 63 families, including 172 children and 89 adults. These are toys, books, vouchers, food and joy that’s been spread by the people of Hawke’s Bay for the people of Hawke’s Bay.
Christmas Cheer Co-Ordinator Jill shares the positive impact that our community has created for dozens of families.
“The generosity of everyone who donated has been amazing. It is nice to know that Hawke’s Bay has a caring and generous spirit. It has brought joy to many families,” Jill says.
Co-ordinating all of these packs is no small feat, and we extend a special thank you to Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood NZ for the time they donated to build the packs alongside our staff.
